The substrate where the tire label is applied is rough and uneven, environmental conditions are adverse and storage conditions could be harsh. Hence the tyre labels command a very strong face material, which is usually a Polypropylene (PP) with an aluminum layer that has high adhesion to rubber. The adhesive used is a high-tack-hot-melt adhesive which sticks firmly to the tyres . Double sided silicon is used so that the pressure sensitive tire label does not stick to the liner. The sticker labels are long lasting and difficult to remove from the surface of the tyre. These tire label have excellent printability.
